Recently, a "green channel" has been opened by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), which allows the direct application for the export inspection of toys purchased in Yiwu Market . This brings Yiwu toy industry a new opportunity for its steady and sound development .
In this "green channel" , a market dealer report to Yiwu inspection and quarantine bureau forecording, with the manufacturer' s "export toy quality certificate" issued by the local inspection and quarantine bureau, his own business license, and a duplicate of the export distributorship agreement of thmanufacturer . And with the "export toy quality certificate" and a toy testing report, Yiwu inspection and quarantine bureau handles the inspection application.
Presently, there are over 2, 000 business entitie engaged in toy trade in the market and over 400 toy manufacturers in the city, whose annual sales volume add up to over 6 billion yuan with 70 percent from export . Because of the adverse influence from policies, Yiwu toy industry had suffered a huge loss in toy export .
