Customs clearance intellectualized in Yiwu

Following the categorization of Yiwu commodities being simplified from more than 8000 export taxfile numbers to only 98 stated on September 1 of lastyear, an intelligent “ Simplified Categorization System for Yiwu Commodities “was developed recently by Hangzhou Customs, helping further simplify the procedure of export customs clearance of Yiwu commodities and accelerate the export of commodities. “Now, the customs can finish the examination of export commodities within 3 minutes . It only takes a container truck 3 minutes to pass the customs in Yiwu, and after the official operation of the new system, the speed is expected to be refreshed,” says the head of Yiwu Office of Jinhua Customs.

Zhejiang Customs Clearance Agency is the first user of the “Simplified Categorization System for Yiwu Commodities “. According to statistics, during the preliminary operation, there were 300 declaration forms to be simplified and categorized with the help of the system. Currently, the system has been officially used in Yiwu, the local customs clearance agencies can experience the intellectualized export declaration by logging in Zhejiang Digital Customs System .
