Newstandard for shirts to take effect from March 1st
The new standard for the production and sale of shirts was announced bythe General Administration of QualitySupervision ,
Inspection and Quarantine of the People’s Republic of China and the Standardization Administration of the People’s Republic of China on June 18,2008 . From March 1,2009 ,all clothing manufacturers are requested to produce shirts in accordance
with the new standard,and shirts produced before are not allowed to be sold any more . Those who break this regulation
will be fined according to related articles of the Product QualityLaw of the People's Republic of China . As a town specializing in shirts producing,Suxi Town has more than 300 factories manufacturing shirts . In order to help the factories master the new standard to decrease loss andstrengthen qualitymanagement ,Suxi Town invited Ge Chuanbin,dean of the Clothing QualitySupervision and Quarantine Center of PRC,and Xu Zeqin,senior engineer of Shanghai FAZEYA Clothing Co.,Ltd,to give lectures on the new standard to shirts entrepreneurs .
