Students Visiting the Elderly in the First Day of Vacation
January 19 is the first day of the winter vacation for all the students in Yiwu’s elementary and middle school. In the morning, 8 students from Class 813 of Chouzhou Middle School voluntarily visited the lonely old people and orphans of the welfare house, with fruits and milk as gifts to express their kindness.
It is known that participating in activities for serving the community is one of the particular “homework for winter vacation” which are arranged to the students by Chouzhou middle school. The school advocates the students to be widely involved into the market, and serving the society so as to experience the social life, enrich their winter vacation and promote practical ability.
