2007 witnessed over 500,000 passengers at Yiwu Airport
According to its passenger handling capacity, Yiwu Airport ranked the 55th in China in 2007 while the 60th in 2006.
In 2007, Yiwu Civil Aviation Administration took advantage of Yiwu's commodity markets to further consolidate the flight network between Yiwu and cities such as Beijing, Guangzhou,Shenzhen, Xiamen, Shantou, Changsha,Kunming, Chongqing, Chengdu, Xi'an, Urumqi and Nantong. Besides, Yiwu Aviation Port was open and started its first direct flight between Yiwu and Hongkong.
