Yiwu Fair to be held from October 21 to 25 in Yiwu International Expo Center
The 15th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair will be held in Yiwu International Expo Center from October 21 to 25 . The previous fair had 4, 500 international standard booths for 2, 512 enterprises, with over 100, 000 visitors from 167 countries and regions, among whom 16, 000 were foreign guests . The total trade volume was 10. 36 billion yuan and the foreign trade volume was USD 949 million, accounting for 62. 3% of the total turnover.
The main exhibition hall of this fair will have 5, 000 international booths with an exhibition area of 100, 000 square meters . It contains 9 exhibition districts for 15 industries like office articles, sports and entertainment goods, toys, knitting materials, zippers, clothes and shoes, arts and crafts, artistic decorations goods , articles for daily use , fashionable ornaments, cosmetics, bags and belts, hardware,electronic and electrical appliances, car goods and service trade . This year is the first time to set up the Purchasers’ Area . The exhibitors are mainly producers . They take up over 90% of all the 2, 300 enterprises which applied to showgoods or services . This situation attracts buyers most because it is convenient for traders and manufacturers to talk face to face ,eliminating the intermediate links and reducing costs . During the fair, therewillbemanywell -organized activities such as forums, lectures,and promotion meetings .
