Actually,all the major markets in Yiwu were planned by the government and constructed under the respective functions of the different markets were also arranged by the government. Around each new Yiwu market, a new city area soon appears. For in stance, Futian Community came into being soon after the International Trade City was opened for business. But be lieve it or not, the place where this community lies used to be part of Yiwu's suburb. Since the International Trade City was set up in 2002, the nearby area was surrounded by skyscrapers. Third, a market controlled by the government planning is easy in management and in providing service. Yiwu market controlled by the government but run by enterprise only needs the service and support from the government, who is most capabel in providing such services and support. So, the governmental departments such as industry and commerce adminitration, tax administration, and financial institutions, custioms and inspectoin and quarantine administration set up branches around the market. Also , in the nearby business buildings, there are Market & Trade Development Bureau, Foreign Affairs Service Center and law offices.
