Yiwu Fair establishes cooperative ties with Chongqing investment fair
At the introduction meeting of the 15th China Yiwu International Commodities Fair (Yiwu Fair for short) held in Chongqing on August 28, a cooperation agreement between Yiwu Fair and Chongqing investment fair was signed to explore the cooperation mode of the two cities.
The full name of Chongqing investment fair is China Chongqing Investment and Global Sourcing Fair . Having been held in 12 continuous years, it is one of the most important and influential trade and investment fairs in western China . Chongqing, where the fair is held, is the economic center of the upper reaches of Yangtze River . Economy of its counties is dynamic and itowns the largest compre hensive market in western China Chaotianmen Market . Yiwu fair has been successfully held for consecutive 14 years . Following
Guangzhou Fair and East China Fair, it is the third largest trade fair in China as well as an important platform for Chinese small and medium-sized enterprises to explore international market . It is learned that the cooperation of the two fairs will include three aspects： exchanging ideas of developing exhibition economy, so as to strengthen
exhibition industry;sharing the commercial resources such as merchants;and organizing enterprises of both sides to attend thefairheldbytheotherparty.
Presently, the Exhibition Introduction Section of Chongqing Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Commission is holding a series of introduction meetings to organize some Chongqing enterprises to attend Yiwu Fair, in the hope of selling more products made in Chongqing to the international market .
