ꆰA booth with excellent location will help a lot the turnover,ꆱ said a person in charge of Jinhua Jieling Household Chemicals Co.ltd who came to Yiwu International Expo Center on the early morning of July 12 and finally chose 6 booths for the exhibition of his company in the 17th China Yiwu International Com- modities Fair (Yiwu Fair for short). It is said that on the first day to choose booths, 300 booths were reserved by 43 groups of visitors at least. However,that is just the beginning of it, because there are a total of 6,500 international standard booths to go.
This year Yiwu Fair will be held from October 21 to 25. It will have 15 exhibition areas including hardware, electrical appliances, arts & crafts, crystals and glass commodities, cultural and office articles, sports & leisure goods, bags, daily necessities, cosmetics and washing products, or- naments, knitting and clothes, household textiles, toys, e-business & trade services, and overseas commodities. At the same time, Yiwu Fair contains two specialized exhibitions: machinery exhibition and auto parts exhibition.
With its debut in 1995, Yiwu Fair has been held successfully for 16 years. With its influence on economy and trade beefed up and its level of internationaliza- tion, professionalism and effectiveness further improved, Yiwu Fair has become a bridge for many small and medium-sized enterprises at home and abroad to go global. It has become the third largest economic and trade fair at home only next to Canton Fair and East China Fair.
