Eighteen Yiwu enterprises to attend exhibition in Malaysia

There is only a month left for China-ASEAN Free Trade Agreement to come i n t o f o r c e . A new ma r k e t f u l l o f opportunities will open to Yiwu enterprises soon . It is learned from Yiwu International Chamber that 18 enterprises including Huahong Holding,Chengxin Tape and Julong Cases & Bags will take part in China Import & Export Commodities Exhibition (Malaysia) (CIEM for short) held by the Ministry of Commerce of China to exploit ASEAN market .
It is introduced that the trade volume of Yiwu with ASEAN countries has increased in recent years . After the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone,the main Yiwu commodities exported to ASEAN,such as textiles,garments,mechanical and electrical products,toys,cases and bags,stationery and
plastic products,will enter ASEAN market free of tariffs . It is learned that CIEM is held by the Ministry of Commerce of China and has already been successfully held in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia for 5 years since 2004 . The positioning of the exhibition is “a regional international exhibition”,which focuses on
Malaysia market,faces ASEAN countries and influences the South Asia and the Middle East .
The CIEM this year will be held in the International Conference and Exhibition Center in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia from December 17 to 20 .
