According to the customs statistics, Yiwu import and export volume experienced an increase from January to October this year ,despite the negative growth of the whole province .
The total export and import volume in Yiwu reached 1 . 91 billion US dollars,up 9 . 2%. To be specific,the export volume amounted to 1 . 74 billion US dollars,up 8 . 8% and the import volume amounted to 180 million US dollars,up 13 . 1%. The import and export volume in October reached 220 million US dollars ,an increase of 11 . 2% ,of which 209 million dollars were contributed by the export ,increasing by 13 . 2% year-on-year .
