The 17th Yiwu Fair has kicked off its
work to invite exhibition and investment
recently. This Yiwu Fair is jointly hosted by
the Ministry of Commerce, the Peopleꆯs
Government of Zhejiang Province, China
Council for the Promotion of International
Trade, China National Light Industry
Council and China General Chamber of
Commerce, and is organized by the Department
of Commerce of Zhejiang Province
and Yiwu Municipal Peopleꆯs Government.
The Fair has prepared 6,500 standard
booths in its main venues, including 5,200
in the International Expo Center and 1,300
others in the Meihu Exhibition Center, an
increase of 1,500 compared with last year.
This Yiwu Fair integrates comprehensive
exhibition with specialized exhibition
and sets up 15 exhibition areas for hardware,
electronic and electrical appliances,
arts and crafts, crystal and glass ware,
stationery and office supplies, e-commerce
and trade service, overseas commodities,
etc. For the first time, Yiwu Fair will
cooperate with 2 professional exhibition
firms to hold the Machine Industry Exhibition
and Auto & Motorcycle Articles and
Spare Parts Exhibition. Because of its great
expansion, this Yiwu Fair will use both
the International Expo Center and Meihu
Exhibition Center. The 15 exhibition areas
and the Auto & Motorcycle Articles and
Spare Parts Exhibition will be arranged in
the International Expo Center, while he
Machine Industry Exhibition will be held in
the Meihu Exhibition Center.
The Machine Industry Exhibition and
Auto & Motorcycle Articles and Spare
Parts Exhibition, both to be held as subexhibitions
of the 17th Yiwu Fair, will be
one of the highlights.
