Zhao Meijun, who is responsible for the preparation work of the first Yiwu Ecommerce & Online Commodities Trade Fair to be held on June 10, has been
tied up recently, even spending busman's holiday in her office. She told the reporter everything has gone smoothly and orderly.
The fair is becoming a reality from its conception less than one year ago, which is really beyond imagination. Enterprises from Guangzhou, Suzhou and Hangzhou are listed among the applicants, which illustrates that Yiwu has gained its status in the field of e-commerce. However, this fair is just one of the ambitions in the process of Yiwu e-commerce development.
Fang Xingdong, director of Chinalabs.com, said on April 1 that he, together with several capital investment enterprises, would invest 300 billion yuan in Yiwu e-commerce to establish a largescale e-commerce enterprise. Fang, who is called the father of China blog, will come to Yiwu with an investment enterprise from Shenzhen this month. In his opinion, due to the approval of Yiwu International Trade Comprehensive Pilot Reform, Yiwu has the chance to modify the map of domestic e-commerce and ensure its position as a center of domestic e-commerce.
Fang thinks, as one of the two supporting systems of Yiwu trade, the international trade has its incomparable strength and he hopes to find elites in this field.
Fang also gave his own solution to the passion and confusion that come with e-commerce. He thinks the only way to guarantee the position of Yiwu in China's
e-commerce is to introduce first-class ecommerce service enterprises, build firstclass e-commerce purchasing bases and establish first-class e-commerce enterprises.
