By December 28, 2007, the civil works of Phase 3 of the International Trade City(Futian) had been progressed as such that 74.5% of its main part was completed, with the basement mostly finished, and five floors on the ground respectively 95%, 87%,85%, 43% and 12% completed. After more than half a year's earthwork and leveling, the civil works of Phase 3 were formally commenced on the morning of September 8, 2007.
The phase 3 market of Futian covers 840 mu and the G.B.A.(gross building area) is 1.75 million square. meters with 320,000 square. meters under the ground and the rest above the ground. The budget is 5 billion yuan, the scale equal to the total of Phase 1 and 2 as a whole.
