Zhejiang China CommoditiesCity Group (CCC Group) declared recently that Yiwu, the largest commodities distribution center in the world, will build the West Yiwu Capital Goods Market in 2011 to cooperate with the International Trade Mart, a modern specialized market, to extend the industrial chain of Yiwu market.
The newly planned West Yiwu Capital GoodsMarket hasa total planning area of 2 million square meters(about 177 . 4 hectares). And it will be built in several phases. The first phase of the capital goods market mainly sellscapital goodsin the industries of machinery, partsand raw materials. The construction will be
started before June 2011 .
Jin Fangping, Chairman of CCC Group said that they will try their best to make West Yiwu Capital Goods Market a new market to act in coordination with the International Trade Mart, and that they will also try to promote the change of Yiwu market from the mere extension of products catalogue to the combined extension in both catalogue and industrial chain, extending the industrial chain and the coverage of Yiwu commodities to enhance the aggregation of Yiwu
market. The establishment of capital goodsmarket will gradually change the current situation of strong finished product market and weak raw material market. Thisisthe only road to perfect Yiwu market system.
