Liu Shiyu, a member of National Committee of CPPCC(the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference), introduced his suggestion to the reporter,"Another Yiwu Fair ( China Yiwu International Commodities Fair) should be held in spring." As a Yiwu citizen who saw Yiwu's fast development in the las 30 years, Liu thought that it's time for Yiwu to break through the development bottle-neck and exhibition is one of the best ways to do so.
"Canton Fair(China Import & Export Fair) is held twice a year. Why not Yiwu fair?" Said Liu.
As a matter of fact, two years ago organizing committee of Yiwu Fair considered holding the fair twice a year, respectively in spring and autumn to deepen the effect of small commodities trade all over the world. At present it is still uncertain when spring Yiwu Fair is to be held as it needs permission from the related higher-level department.
